The Audit Standing Committee is a Council appointed committee reporting directly to Council on the matters below:

The Audit Standing Committe is chaired by a member of the public and comprised of a minimum of five members from the following stakeholder groups:
- two residents serving as public members (1 serving as Chair)
- a minimum of three Council members
