Mayor and Council
The St. John's Municipal Council is comprised of eleven elected citizens consisting of a mayor, deputy mayor, five ward councillors (overseeing five geographic regions of the City), and four at-large councillors. The St. John's Municipal Council meets weekly each Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber. During the months of July and August, these meetings are held on a bi-weekly basis. Check the calendar of events to confirm dates and times: https://www.stjohns.ca/calendar
