Located at 495 Water Street, St. John's, the Railway Coastal Museum is housed in the original refurbished Riverhead Train Station built in 1903.  The museum is dedicated to interpreting the history of the Newfoundland Railway System from its inception in the late 1880's to its closure in 1988 as well as the history of the provincial Coastal Boat Service.  The operation of the museum is subsidized by the City of St. John's

Councillor Hope Jamieson is Council's representative on this organization.
