Affordable Housing session for Homeowners

The City of St. John’s in partnership with the Senior's Resource Centre are hosting an information session for homeowners interested in learning more about saving money on home heating costs.  

Presentations by Corina Crocker with Newfoundland & Labrador Housing (NLHC) and Michelle Marley with Newfoundland Power's takeCHARGE program.

Provincial Home Repair Program (PHRP)
PHRP is a federal/provincial cost-shared initiative which is administered/delivered by NLHC. Low-income households are assisted under this program with modest assistance levels to improve privately owned households. 

Home Modification Program (HMP)
HMP is designed to provide funding to low-to-moderate income homeowners ($46,500 or less), persons with disabilities who require accessibility changes to their residences, which can help promote independence, self-reliance, assist with a better quality of life, and enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

TakeCHARGE
Michelle Marley with Newfoundland Power's takeCHARGE program will present information on their residential rebates and programs.
