St. John's Celebrates Refugees with Photo Exhibit at City Hall

Residents of the City of St. John's, are invited to view a special photo exhibit showcasing the work of young adult refugees living in St. John’s.

The exhibit, titled ‘Home is Where the Heart Feels’ opens on World Refugee Day June 20 and is available for viewing to the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., until July 11. The photographers, clients of the Association for New Canadians (ANC), were provided the opportunity to tell their story through photographs.

The City is delighted to continue our partnership with the ANC on the project to provide the public with an opportunity to see through the eyes of these young refugees what home means to them and learn about their experiences of settling and integrating into the Province.
