The City of St. John’s invites residents and visitors to celebrate St. John’s Days from June 22-24. Free events to appeal to all ages and interests are scheduled to take place at several locations throughout the weekend.
 
The St. John’s Days festivities begin with a bang when Mayor Danny Breen is joined by members of the Association for New Canadians at Signal Hill National Historic Site to fire the Noon Day Gun on Friday, June 22.
 
Other St. John's Days events include:

Friday, June 22

  • 12:30-1:30 p.m.: Music @ Harbourside – first outdoor concert of the season featuring Tangle Cove and youth opening performer Conway
  • 7-8 p.m.: Campfire Sing-a-long and marshmallow roasting at Signal Hill 

Saturday, June 23

  • 10:30 a.m. - noon: Mural Running tour
  • 2-3 p.m.: Instant Choir sings St. John’s Waltz at City Hall
  • 3:30 p.m.: Public Art Crawl 

Sunday, June 24

  • 9:30-11:30 a.m.: Street Art Photo tour
  • 1-4 p.m.: Family Fun in Bannerman Park 
  • 8-9:30 p.m.: Films on the Go – St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival short films screening at City Hall
