A Taste of HOME

HOME: Stories of Newcomers to Newfoundland and Labrador is a 30-minute documentary produced by the Association of New Canadians and features firsthand accounts of arrival, integration and settlement in St. John's, Gander, Corner Brook and Labrador City. HOME presents familiar local images, scenes and recognizable landmarks alongside the ever-changing cultural landscape of modern day Newfoundland and Labrador.

Downtown St. John's presents a special screening of Maudie, filmed in part in Newfoundland and Labrador and starring Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawk. Bring a lawn chair and arrive early to save your favourite spot.
