Blowback on Pennywell

Thank-you to our hard-working staff who are dedicated to the job and have been in constant action since our first snowfall in December.

As a result of the record-breaking storm last week, St. John’s has had over 250cm of snow since the beginning of this winter season.

City plows and crews continue to remove snow on priority 1 and 2 streets and are addressing neighbourhood, priority 3 streets that have only been cleared once since the storm.

Please stay off the roads to the fullest extent possible. Reduced congestion means quicker snow removal as we transition away from the state of emergency.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding and thank you for your patience during this emergency recovery.
