EMMA BUTLER GALLERY
Emma Dalton Butler first opened her private art gallery, The Emma Butler Gallery, in 1987 to exhibit and sell quality art of accomplished and emerging artists. The gallery now represents over thirty professional artists from Newfoundland, Canada, the United States, France and Russia.

GERALD SQUIRES GALLERY
In 2015 Gerald Squires C.M, D.LITT, RCA passed away after a short battle with cancer. Squires’ was a master painter, draughtsman, and sculptor dedicated to his art, much of which was devoted to and inspired by Newfoundland and its people. Both figure prominently in his artworks and public sculpture. No matter how distinguished he became Gerry’s door was always open. He encouraged young artists, visited schools, shared his techniques, worked with other artists, and promoted Newfoundland as a unique, world-class place. HANCOCK GALLERY
Hancock Gallery opened in early 2000. Since then it has evolved from an art gallery into a full service photography gallery that offers a full range of services, including the art work of photographer and owner, Jonathan Hancock.

LEYTON GALLERY OF FINE ART
The Leyton Gallery opened in 2003 and carries some of the most important rising national and international artists living and working in Eastern Canada. The works range from realism to emotionalism to abstract symbolic work. The gallery carries paintings, prints, and sculpture. It has a rent to buy program, offers private consultations, and will ship anywhere. The gallery prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere and welcoming social and informative environment.

PETER LEWIS GALLERY
The Peter Lewis Gallery is located in the heart of downtown St. John's, in one of the city's beautiful Heritage Homes. It opened its doors on July 27th, 2009. Peter Lewis is a well known runner, local teacher, and artist reflecting a life which is as colourful as his paintings. Come in and experience Peter's original oils and charcoals depicting the landscapes of Newfoundland, Arizona, Ireland, Italy and more. The gallery also features the works of many visiting artists.

RED OCHRE GALLERY
The Red Ochre Gallery is a fine art gallery offering paintings and sculpture by over twenty-five artists living in, or with a connection to, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The Inuit collection comes from sculptors in Labrador and Nunavut.

ST. MICHAEL'S PRINTSHOP
St. Michael's Printshop is an artist-run print studio which provides professional fine art printmaking facilities for established and emerging artists. A lure for printmakers who crave a space in which to create art surrounded by the extraordinary natural landscape of the North Atlantic, the Printshop also attracts visuals artists who wish to explore printmaking as a new medium for the first time through workshops with local and visiting printmakers.

THE ROOMS PROVINCIAL ART GALLERY
The Rooms is Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest public cultural space. It represents and showcases our province to itself and to the world. Both a destination and a journey, The Rooms is where the province’s most extensive collection of artifacts, art and historical records come together to create meaningful and memorable visitor experiences that share who we are and how we came to be.

ULTRAMARINE FINE ART STUDIO
Ultramarine Fine Art Studio is a contemporary art gallery showcasing the work of painter June Walker-Wilson. June draws inspiration from the seasons and the natural environment. She has mainly worked in oils but in 2011 June developed a new technique of manipulated fabric on board in which she bridges the space between flat art and three dimensional sculpture. She continues to use traditional oil paints to finish the multi-focal sculptural effects of her paintings.

WATER STREET GALLERY
The Water Street Gallery is located on the second floor of the Heritage Shop on Water Street (309 Water Street) and runs different shows and exhibitions throughout the year that support both local artists and the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland.
