Downtown St. John'sSt. John's is a great city to call home. Known for its welcoming people, beautiful natural environment, vibrant arts and culture scene, excellent range of amenities, and sense of community.

In 2015, St. John's established its own Local Immigration Partnership (LIP). LIP's are municipal or regional coalitions designed to strengthen local capacity to attract newcomers and improve integration outcomes, as indicated by enhanced economic, social, political, and civic participation. LIP's operate through formal agreements that establish broad-based partnership councils charged with developing and implementing strategies to produce more welcoming communities.
