Babysitters Course

Learn the basics of babysitting for children from birth to school age and first aid/emergency response. 
Bring along a doll and lunch. For full course desciption please click here.                  

Ages 11 to 15 (must have completed grade 5)

Home Alone Safety Program

A safety and life skills program for children (Grade 4 to 6) to develop independence to be un-supervised for short periods of time. Topics include: online safety, fire safety, street smarts, emergency response, healthy eating and a home readiness plan. Bring a lunch! The City of St. John's cannot guarentee that children taking this course will be adequately prepared or responsible to remain at home without adult supervision.

Ages 10 to 12 (must be 10 and no older than 12 by December 31 of current school year)

So You Think You Got Talent

The Annual Youth Talent Show is held during the winter season and is available for preteens and youth ages 10 to 14 years. Please see Youth Programs Special Events.
