Sit and Knit Drop In Program
Get together to knit, share ideas, patterns, and chat with your family and friends. Children ages 10+ years must be accompanied by an adult. National Family Week
National Family Week is celebrated in October each year with activities for families including a Family Fun Day. Check for activities on the Calendar of Events at www.stjohns.ca
National Child Day is celebrated each year on November 20. A key objective of National Child Day is increase awareness and understanding of the rights of the child to ensure they reach their full potential. Celebrating National Child Day is about celebrating children as active participants in their own lives who can meaningfully contribute to decision making. National Child Day has been celebrated and recognized in the City of St. John's since 1999. We are encouraging everyone to wear blue to bring awareness to children's rights around the world.
Bring the whole family for a leisurely paddle. Instructors will provide basic instruction followed by a group paddle. All equipment is provided. Click here for more information including dates, times and to register.
