Bulk and Metal Collection: Book Your Appointment

Starting on Monday, August 6, residents can start booking appointments for bulk and metal curb side collection scheduled to take place from September 10 to October 13.

Bulk and metal pick up is a free service and will be collected by Area.
Area 1: September 10 to 14
Area 2: September 17 to 21
Area 3: September 24 to 28
Area 4: October 1 to 5
Area 5: October 9 to 13

Before you book an appointment be sure what you have is considered oversized waste:

• maximum size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2.15 m (5 ft x 5 ft x 7 ft)
• weighs less than 68 kgs (150 lbs)
• does not fit inside the automated waste carts

To make an appointment you can:

• Go to curbitstjohns.ca > schedules
• Use the app ‘St. John’s Waste and Recycling’
• Call Access St. John’s at 311 or 754-CITY (2489) 

Please book your bulk and metal for the same day, and mark the confirmed appointment date in your calendar. Ensure that your items are at the curb and ready for pick up by 8 a.m. on the assigned date.
