Call for Artists: Mural to Commemorate Great Fire of 1892

This year marks 125 years since the Great Fire of 1892. The City of St.John’s is currently accepting submissions from Artists for a thematic mural to commemorate the historic fire. The mural will be painted on the retaining wall at McBride’s Hill, which runs between Duckworth Street and Water Street in downtown St. John’s.

The award of a contract is conditional upon the successful Artist entering into an agreement to meet all obligations as required by the Request for Proposals (RFP).

Local Artists encouraged to apply. Details are available online, the deadline to apply is 4 p.m. on Monday, May 15.
