Update: One Cruise Ship Visit Sept. 24

The Silver Whisper and the Disney Magic have cancelled their scheduled visit to the port of St. John’s due to weather in the Atlantic. The Saga Sapphire with 720 passengers and 415 crew is scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. and depart at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24.

As a result of the changes, there will be no traffic interruptions required on Sunday.

Parking is limited on Harbour Drive during cruise ship visits to accommodate tour bus operators and other passenger transportation. Alternate parking options include parking garages at 351 Water Street, 330 Duckworth Street (Metro Park), and 215 Water Street (Atlantic Place).
