The City of St. John’s is seeking expressions of interest from musicians who would like to perform during the Music at Harbourside Lunchtime Concert Series this summer. Music at Harbourside is a series of outdoor lunchtime concerts that take place every Friday in July and August at Harbourside Park in downtown St. John’s. Concerts run from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and are a great opportunity for performers to showcase their talent.

“These concerts are a source of art and enjoyment for downtown workers, St. John’s residents and visitors to our city,” says Deputy Mayor Shannie Duff, Chair of the City’s Arts Advisory Committee. “They’re a wonderful way for us to share our local talent with the community and for performers to reach new audiences. We are pleased to provide young and emerging musicians with an opportunity to perform by featuring them as opening acts once again this year.”

Submissions will be received at the Department of Economic Development, Tourism & Culture (348 Water Street) until 4:30 p.m. on May 15.

A jury will review all complete submissions and successful musicians/groups will be contacted with more information.

For submission information, please call (709) 576-2563 or E-mail: arts@stjohns.ca.
