Free Overnight Parking in Downtown Garages Discontinued

Free overnight parking in downtown parking garages (announced on January 22, 2020) will end on Fri. February 7 at 7 a.m. This free overnight parking initiative was announced during the recent State of Emergency to assist with parking issues in the downtown and to move vehicles off the downtown residential streets during clean up from the storm.

The city would like to thank the owners and management of 351 Water Street (Eastport Properties) and the Atlantic Place Parking Garage (Sonco), for their cooperation in providing parking relief for residents during the State of Emergency.

Parking will continue to be free all evenings, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., at the City Hall Parking Garage (Levels 1,3 & 4), 10 New Gower Street, except when there is an event at Mile One Centre.
