The Loop to Close March 29

Due to the warming trend expected at the end of this week, The Loop will be closing for the season on Friday, March 29, 2019.
During the remaining days, the best skating conditions currently occur after 4 p.m. as sun light fades. The midday sun is currently too strong and is degrading the quality of the ice.
The Loop has had an excellent season with a record set for the number of days open; this year we had 98 days of skating with only two days closed. Skating began on December 20, 2018.
