Nomination Deadline Extended for Senior of the Year

The nomination deadline for the Senior of the Year award has been extended to Friday, May 23 at 4:30 p.m.

The City of St. John’s, through the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Seniors, annually recognizes a senior who has made significant volunteer contributions to the community by presenting the Senior of the Year award. The award has been generously donated by the Kenny’s Pond Retirement Community. To nominate a senior in St. John’s, 60 years of age or above, find the form at www.stjohns.ca (look under Quick Links, Forms, Council Committees) or request a paper copy by calling (709) 576-8620.
