The City of St. John's will host a Public Open House on Wednesday, July 2 at 7 p.m.to review the key findings of the Parks and Open Space Master Plan.  The session will be held in the Foran/Greene Room at City Hall.

“We heard strongly from the residents and groups who participated in the sessions that they want their parks and open spaces to define and connect neighbourhoods,” said Councillor Jonathan Galgay, Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Works. “The individual ward sessions also provided excellent insight into how each distinct area views the importance of things like walk-ability, greenways and mobility.”

The session on July 2 will begin with a presentation of key findings, followed by an open house-style discussion.

“I would encourage anyone with an interest in how parks and open spaces contribute to our vision of the City to come to the session or post their comments online,” said Councillor Galgay

The project website includes summary documents for each of the sessions. Public comments are still open as well through this page at www.tracestudio.squarespace.com/st-johns/
