Planned Road Closure along Allandale Road, November 8 to 11

To replace a section of watermain that experienced a break in September, the City of St. John’s will be closing Allandale Road from Higgins Line to Prince Philip Drive from 9 a.m. on Friday, November 8 until 10 p.m. on Monday, November 11. Early morning (rush hour) traffic on Friday will not be affected by the road closure, however detours will be in effect by the end of the day.
Throughout the weekend, the City will maintain access to Nagle’s Place and the Fluvarium via Prince Philip Drive only.
Infrastructure work is expected to be completed before the end of the holiday weekend.
The City of St. John’s apologizes for the inconvenience caused and thanks the public for respecting the detours and driving carefully in the construction area.
