Shelter at Buckmaster's Circle Closing at 11 p.m.

As power continues to be restored there is low attendance at the city’s shelter, located at the St. John’s Recreation Centre, Buckmaster’s Circle. As a result the shelter will close at 11 p.m. tonight, and will re-open as a warming centre at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Monday, March 13).
Thank you to the Canadian Red Cross and Salvation Army for continued support.
The warming centre opening at 8 a.m. will provide residents:
- Ability to charge cell phones
- Coffee, Tea and warm beverages
- Opportunity to warm up
Meals and transportation will not be provided.
