What We Heard on the Capital Budget Now Available

Engagement on the 2019 capital projects took place from February 12 to 26. Feedback from the engagement is now available as a 'What We Heard' document on engagestjohns.ca.

During public engagement on Budget 2019-2021, Council heard that residents wanted an opportunity to see and comment on the capital budget plan in advance of it being approved. The capital plan includes smaller, one-time investments in things such as fleet, roads rehabilitation, community grants and repairs to City buildings and playgrounds.

Council will consider the input received through the engagement process and discuss the capital plan at an upcoming meeting of the Committee of the Whole, followed by a vote to approve the plan at an upcoming regular meeting.
