Wood Chips Available For Garden Use

The City of St. John’s has wood chips at no charge at Bowring Park and Wishingwell Park. This material is very beneficial to residents for home gardening purposes and to the City for use in public parks.
These wood chips come from our annual Christmas tree drop-off program and trees which were destroyed during Tropical Storm Leslie last summer.
Wood chip locations:
- Wishingwell Park
- Bowring Park West Parking Lot (off Waterford Bridge Road west of the Cowan Avenue intersection).
