Forest Bathing

When:
Tuesday, August 6, 2019 - 9:00am to 11:30am
Where:
MUN Botanical Garden, 306 Mount Scio Road

Join certified Forest Bathing guide, Tina White, to immerse yourself in the wonderful healing effects of nature. Move mindfully down our wooded trails, and soak it in with all of your senses. Learn some sensory-based activities to allow you to connect with nature, opening yourself up to receive the healing medicine the forest offers. Conclude the walk with a tea ceremony featuring locally foraged plants. You will leave having a new appreciation for our boreal woodlands, and a practice you can readily apply in your daily life.

Participants are asked to dress warm, preferably in layers (this is not a hike - as such you will not generate much body heat), and with closed-toe footwear. The workshop will be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.

Fee: $28.00 plus tax.

To register, visit our website www.mun.ca/botgarden, give us a call at 864-8590, or visit us at 306 Mount Scio Road.
