The 2017 Downtown Christmas Parade, organized by Downtown St. John’s, is re-scheduled to take place on Sunday, Dec. 3.
To accommodate the parade all parking meters along the parade route on both sides of Water Street and Duckworth Street, including meters on Queen Street, George Street, Adelaide Street, Springdale Street and George Street West will be bagged prohibiting public parking from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.
Meters will be bagged beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, however parking at the meters is allowed until 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.
