Planned Power Outage at City Hall Affecting Multiple Services

Planned Power Outage at City Hall from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17^th will affect the following City services: 

• The City website https://stjohns.ca/ and Map Centre https://map.stjohns.ca/mapcentre/ will be offline; e-Updates (emails) sent to subscribers of City website corporate communications will not be sent.
• Electronic (Interac and credit card) payments will not be accepted at any City facility including all Recreation facilities, Access St. John's, and Humane Services.
• Recreation facilities and Humane Services will be open during regular hours and will be accepting cash payments.
• The RECconnect system will not be available to City staff for booking programs or facilities whether booking online, in-person, and via telephone. However, the RECconnect website will be available to residents outside the City network via: https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/recconnect/
• Slowdowns are expected at both inbound and outbound commercial scales at Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility, as weights will be recorded manually.
