Recreation Report July 9 at 7 a.m.

This is the City of St. John’s Summer Recreation Report updated on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 7:00 am.

The Teakwood Park / Southlands Activity Centre will be held outside this morning a Teakwood Park in Southlands.

There are spaces left in Summer Day Camps and Activity Centres for children ages 6 to 11 call 576-8499 for more information.

A reminder for Seniors that Thursday, July 11 is the annual Seniors Program Party in the Park from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm on the lawn of the Bowring Park Bungalow. Free admission for an afternoon of great friends, some snacks and great local live entertainment.

Youth half and full day courses are fun and teach valuable skills like rowing, canoeing, kayaking, cooking or photography. Call 576-8630 or E-mail recreation@stjohns.ca to get more information on any of these fun and exciting courses.
