Road Closure: Portugal Cove Road

Portugal Cove Road will be closed between Elizabeth Avenue and Rennies Mill Road for construction work staring on Monday, June 18 continuing until November 30, 2018.
 
Residential traffic and emergency vehicles will have access with all other vehicles detoured.  Sidewalk and driveway access will be maintained where possible.
 
This infrastructure project was announced in April and is in response to significant water main breaks along Portugal Cove Road. The scope of the work includes replacing the water main and building a new underground pressure reducing station near the intersection of Portugal Cove Road and New Cove Road.
