Road Closures - New Year's Eve Fireworks

For safety reasons the following streets will be closed from 5:30 pm on Tuesday, December 31st until after the fireworks, unless otherwise noted:

• The Boulevard (closed 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm) from Legion Road to East White Hills Road
• Lake Avenue
• Carnell Drive
• Clancey Drive
• Lakeview Avenue

Vehicles parked in violation or parked such that they are obstructing traffic will be ticketed and towed.

Accessible parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the Dominion parking lot.  The same streets and parking lots will be closed approximately 5:30 pm should the fireworks be postponed to January 1.

Quidi Vidi Walking Trail - Partial Closure
The Quidi Vidi dog park and a portion of the walking trail around Quidi Vidi Lake will be closed for fireworks setup on December 31 and will be reopened after the fireworks display is completed.  Parking lots on either side of the Quidi Vidi dog park will be closed.

Christmas tree Drop Off at Quidi Vidi Lake
To accommodate the fireworks setup, the Christmas tree drop off at the large gravel parking lot off The Boulevard will be closed from 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 31 until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 1.
