Road Construction - June 11 to 15

Contractors may be working on the following arterial and collector streets from June 11th to 15th under the City's annual Streets Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Maintenance Programs.  Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.  Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Blackmarsh Road (at Dominion Supermarket)
Bonaventure Avenue (Empire Avenue to Barnes Road)
Columbus Drive (Mundy Pond Road to Blackmarsh Road)
Frecker Drive (Point Leamington Street to Burling Crescent)
Long's Hill
Military Road (Basilica Cathedral to Rawlins Cross)
Mundy Pond Road (Columbus Drive to Blackmarsh Road)
Signal Hill Road (Quidi Vidi Road to Cabot Avenue)
Torbay Road (Stavanger Drive to Mary Brown's)

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:

Main Road
Major's Path
Newfoundland Drive
Petty Harbour Road
Portugal Cove Road

Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
