Residents in Georgestown are advised that the City intends to perform a daytime snow removal operation today between the hours of 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020.
To remove as much snow as possible during this short window of time, the removal will be very rudimentary and most areas outside the roadway will be left uncleared of snow.
Cooperation of area residents during this operation will be critical. Residents who might be home during the removal operation should make all efforts to move their vehicles out of the roadway during the removal.
The operation will proceed very rapidly so the inconvenience to homeowners should be minimal. The City apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the patience of everyone at this time.
