Snow Removal for Overnight, Jan.25/26

Snow removal operations continue into the evening on the streets announced earlier today, Saturday, Jan.25, and continuing overnight on these additional streets:

Hennebury Street
Rankin Street
Avalon Street
Goodridge Street
Salisbury Street
Edinburgh Street
Aldershot Street
Malta Street
Cairo Street
Sulva Street
Suez Street
Liverpool Street
Hamel Street
Monchy Street
Kean Place
Winchester Street

To effectively remove snow from these roads, parked cars must be moved. Owners of vehicles parked on these streets are urged to clean and remove their vehicles as soon as possible. These vehicles can temporarily park on the streets that have been cleared, or overnight in select parking garages.
 
Additional downtown residential streets will be added as snow removal operations progress. This will be communicated through a public advisory on the City website, and the City’s social media feeds.

The City appreciates the support and cooperation of vehicle owners in the downtown during this emergency recovery.
