Traffic & Parking: Water Street

In preparation for the next phase of the Water Street infrastructure project, due to start in spring 2021, contractors will finish up the work of cleaning and videoing underground infrastructure on Water Street between Clift’s-Baird’s Cove and Job’s Cove from Tuesday, Oct. 20 to Thursday, Oct. 22.
Flag persons and signage will be on site to allow two-way traffic flow for the duration of the work; some on-street parking spaces will be closed. The Water Street Business Liaison will be available to work with business owners in the area.
As with any underground project there are many variables that can impact the timeline. The contractor is committed to working as quickly as possible to complete this work.
