Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop Off (RDO) will be closed on Thursday, September 8th. The Robin Hood Bay landfill, material recovery facility and the metal recycler will remain open to commercial and municipal users. ...

The Residential Drop Off (RDO) at Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closing at 2 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 due to high wind conditions.
The RDO will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 5A and 5B including recycling for 5B is postponed and will take place on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
Curbside waste collection is taking place in two areas today as yesterday's collection was postponed due to wind.
If recycling in areas 2B and 3B is not picked up by 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, it will be collected Thursday, Jan. 20.

If your yard waste was not collected as scheduled on Friday, it will be picked up if you put it at the curb on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021.

Due to a fire at the landfill, now contained, the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will have a delayed opening Tuesday, May 11 for both commercial users of the landfill and recycling facility, and residential users at the residential drop-off.
