The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Residents of St. John's are advised that there will be scheduled maintenance performed on the watermain on Kent Place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Repairs will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m. Water will be shut off to residents on Kent Place during this time.
...The City will be working on the following streets from Nov 9-13 under the street rehabilitation program. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas.

...The Cruise Ship AIDAmar has cancelled her visit to the Port of St. John’s.
Ship arrivals are subject to various conditions, including weather and ships’ schedules.
We regret this schedule change and hope to see AIDAmar again soon.
Residents of St. John's are advised that there is a watermain break on Gregg Place, Kilbride. Crews are currently working on repairs and anticipate the work to be completed by 4 p.m. today, October 28, 2015. Water will be shut off until then.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised that there will be traffic disruptions in the area of Columbus Drive on October 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This is due to NL POWER conducting Overhead Line work in the area. Motorists should use an alternate route and expect delays.
