Application - 176 Freshwater Road

A Discretionary Use (Change of Non-Conforming Use) application has been submitted requesting permission to change and increase the occupancy at 176 Freshwater Road. The main floor (total 89 m2) will be converted from a salon to a yoga studio (39 m2) with the existing offices remaining (24.5 m2). The occupancy will be expanded by 41 per cent into the second floor, where 36.4 m2 will be converted into offices for counselling services related to the yoga studio.

The business will occupy a total floor area of 125.4 m2 and will operate Monday to Saturday. 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., with a maximum of 8 students per class. The business will employ a total of 3 employees, typically instructing at different times. On-site parking is provided.
