Take notice that the St. John’s Urban Region Regional Plan Amendment Number 4, 2018, adopted by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment on the 16th day of September 2019, has been approved by the Minister on the 30th day of January 2020.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Urban Region Regional Plan Amendment Number 4, 2018, is to redesignate land identified as 47A Heavy Tree Road from “Rural” to “Urban Development”.
 
Also, take notice that St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 150, 2018, and St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 686, 2018, adopted on the 30th day of September 2019, and approved on the 25th day of November, 2019 have been registered by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 150, 2018, is to redesignate land at 47A Heavy Tree Road from the Rural (R) Land Use District to the Residential Low Density (RLD) Land Use District, to allow residential development. 
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 686, 2018, is to rezone land at 47A Heavy Tree Road from the Rural (R) Zone to the Residential Medium Density (R2) Zone, to allow residential development.
