Tax Sale

Pursuant to the provisions of the City of St. John’s Municipal Taxation Act, with particular reference to sections 35 and 36, the City of St. John’s hereby offers for sale, by public auction for arrears of taxes, the following properties situate at St. John’s, NL:
 
21-A Angel Place, minimum bid: $4,893.53
225 Petty Harbour Road, minimum bid: $1,455.65
 
These properties will be sold by public auction on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the Foran/Greene Room, fourth floor, City Hall.

The sale may be cancelled upon payment of the arrears of the taxes.
 
Conditions of Sale
In addition to any other conditions of sale contained in the City of St. John’s Municipal Taxation Act, the successful purchaser must deposit with the auctioneer at the time of the sale, cash, certified cheque, or bank draft for the minimum bid noted on the property as shown above. The balance of the purchase price is to be paid within 30 days of the sale. HST will be charged where applicable.
