Text Amendment/Discretionary Use - 69 & 71 Charter Avenue

Tue, 2017/12/05 - 9:30am

An application was received by the City to develop semi-detached dwellings (2 units) at 69 & 71 Charter Avenue as part of a larger development that started at 55 Charter Avenue. Currently, this form of housing is not permitted in the Apartment Low Density (A1) Zone. Council is considering making a text amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations to add semi-detached dwellings as a Discretionary Use in the A1 Zone.

In conjunction with the above amendment, the City is also advertising the development of the semi-detached dwellings (2 units) at 69 & 71 Charter Avenue as a Discretionary Use.
