Update on Maplewood Evacuation

Residents of Maplewood Apartments evacuated due to the structure fire earlier this evening were bussed to City Hall by Metrobus and upon arrival were registered by the Canadian Red Cross.
 
If family or friends arrive at City Hall to take residents to their homes, the residents are advised to check-out with the Red Cross.
 
Family of residents of Maplewood Apartments can check on loved ones by calling Access St. John’s at (709) 754-2489.
 
If residents of Maplewood did not come to City Hall and require medication in their apartment, they should call Maplewood Staff at (709) 579-7573 and leave a message with their contact information.
