October 25, 2013 - The City of St. John’s is taking a new approach to managing residential leaves. The City is encouraging homeowners to mulch leaves to improve the health of their lawn. If there are too many leaves to mulch residents can avail of the new Curbside Leaf Collection Pilot Program and place bagged leaves at the curb on their regular garbage collection days in November.

October 16, 2013 - Due to an increase in canine kennel cough in the province, the City of St. John’s is recommending all dogs receive the kennel cough vaccination before visiting City dog parks.
Kennel cough is an infectious bronchitis characterized by a harsh, hacking cough that most dog owners describe as sounding like something is stuck in the dog’s throat.

October 15, 2013 - The City of St. John’s is pleased to present the aerial photography exhibit, Horizons, which documents Israel on its 50th anniversary of independence in 1998.
