Operation of the City of St. John's Youth Soccer Program

The City of St John’s has provided a House League Soccer Program for children and youth 4 to 17 years of age for the past eight years. The House League Soccer Program encourages fun and fair play in a recreational atmosphere with emphasis on fitness fundamentals and socialization rather than competition. In 2013, 1,294 children participated in the St. John’s Youth Soccer Program which began June 24, 2013 and ended August 23, 2013. The Program was offered to multiple age groups twice a week at various days, times and locations.
 
The City of St. John's is seeking Expressions of Interest from an individual, group, association or company to operate a Youth Soccer Program in place of the City of St. John’s Youth Soccer Program. Expressions of Interest shall be in writing and submitted by 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.  The Respondent shall submit two copies of their Expression of Interest to:

Expressions of Interest received later than the specified closing time will be returned unopened. Any questions or inquiries regarding this Call for Expressions of Interest shall be directed in writing to Tanya Haywood, Director, Recreation Division, Department of Community Services, P.O. The City of St. John’s is not obligated to accept any Expression of Interest. The City of St. John’s, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to reject any or all Expressions of Interest for any reason. The City of St. John's is not liable to Respondents for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of their Expression of Interest. This is not a call for tenders under the Public Tender Act.
