St. Patrick's Holiday City Schedule

Due to the St. Patrick’s Day holiday all City offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, March 17. This includes the Access St. John’s front counter, the Animal Care and Adoption Centre, the Visitor and Business Information Centre and all City recreation facilities. The City Council meeting, regularly scheduled weekly for Mondays, will take place on Tuesday, March 18 at 4:30 p.m.
 
The Access St. John’s Call Centre is available to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
 
Exceptions to these closures are as follows:
 
Parking
Parking meter regulations will be enforced on Monday, March 17 as the St. Patrick's Day holiday is not an observed holiday under the Provincial Shop Closing Act.

Garbage and Recycling Collection
Garbage and recycling collection is unaffected by the St. Patrick's Day holiday and there will be regular garbage (areas 1A and 1B) and recycling (1A) collection on Monday, March 17. Residents are reminded that garbage and recyclables are not permitted to be put out for collection before 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility
The landfill at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users during regular hours of operation from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17.
 
The Residential Drop-Off at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is closed on Monday, March 17 as it is regularly closed on Mondays.
