The City of St. John’s is developing a Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan.

Public information sessions held in the Wards from March 27 to April 3 offered the opportunity for residents to engage in the discussion about how green spaces and parks contribute to the neighbourhoods in which they live.

The feedback gathered at those sessions is now available to the public at www.tracestudio.squarespace.com/st-johns.

“We are very pleased by the level of interest and the ideas generated at these sessions,” said Councillor-at-Large Dave Lave, Chair of the Engage! St. John’s Task Force.

“There is still time to contribute, if residents would like to add their comments and ideas,” explained Councillor Lane. “A link on the consultant’s website is available for feedback, all of which will be considered as the plan is finalized in the coming weeks.”
