Financial Institutions
Internet and Phone You may make payments on your Municipal Tax account by registering the City of St. John's as a payee through your bank account either online or by phone. It will help to have a recent bill handy as you will need the property's account number to register. When you are prompted to enter the account number, using your tax bill, omit the two leading zeroes from the account number 00- and enter the remaining numbers. To avoid late payment penalty charges, please ensure you allow sufficient time for your payment to reach us by the due date on your bill. As some of the banks have "St. John's" set up differently as a payee, we have provided a payee list below for some of the major banks. If you require assistance, please contact your financial institution.
