New Gower Street Reopens to Traffic

UPDATE 7:30 p.m. - New Gower Street is now open to traffic.

The current weather system and high winds affecting the City of St. John’s are causing significant damage to city infrastructure. 
 
For precautionary reasons, New Gower Street was temporarily closed from Queen Street to Waldegrave Street.
