Mayor Announces Town Halls and Engagement for Strategic Plan

Tuesday, May 08, 2018 - 2:45 PM

The City of St. John’s released the results of its Citizen Satisfaction Survey on Monday, May 7. To further explore the results and begin the process of developing a strategic plan and budget for 2019-21, the Mayor will hold a series of in-person and online Town Halls.

Opportunities to participate include:

  • Facebook Live Town Hall: Tuesday, May 22 @cityofstjohns at 7 p.m.
  • In-person Town Hall: Thursday, May 24, Gleneyre Room, Paul Reynolds Community Centre, from 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Twitter Town Hall #AskMayorBreen on Friday, May 25 at 11:30 a.m.

The Mayor will be addressing the survey and asking residents, “What results connect with you?” and “What can the city do to improve or continue to provide quality services while keeping costs down?”

Throughout the month of May, the City will also be offering a variety of opportunities for the public to engage with us on the development of our strategic plan and budget. For the times and locations of these events, or to join the online discussion, please go to engagestjohns.ca.
