Take notice that amendments adopted on the 17th day of February, 2020, and approved on the 11th day of May, 2020, have been registered by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 147, 2020, is to remove reference to building height from the A.P. Parking Garage District and to amend the Downtown Building Control Map to allow a building height not exceeding 12 storeys/47 m and a floor area ratio not exceeding 2.5.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 680, 2020, is to add Office and Retail Store as Discretionary Uses, increase the maximum building height, increase the maximum floor area ratio, and to amend the Downtown Building Control Map to allow building height not exceeding 12 storeys/47 m and a floor area ratio not exceeding 2.5.
