Traffic Delays - Merrymeeting Road and Mayor Avenue Intersection

Motorists are advised that due to water main replacement work taking place at the intersection of Merrymeeting Road and Mayor Avenue from Sept. 17 to 20, they can expect traffic slowdowns, disruptions to traffic and delays. Flag persons will be in the area to direct traffic as required.

This work is part of a 12-week construction project on Mayor Avenue and upcoming activities will require the closure of area roads and installation of detours to allow work to proceed. The City of St. John's will post updates for motorists as the project moves forward.
